After having introduced a system of a mixed «usage and sales-based» distribution in the field of phonogram producers some time ago, SWISSPERFORM has now the possibility of concluding bilateral agreements with sister companies abroad in this field as well. The interest in a representation abroad had previously been evaluated among SWISSPERFORM members by means of a survey. The evaluation of the survey confirmed among a majority of the participants such an interest in the administration of rights in the European countries which were tackled in the survey.
With regard to the claiming of remuneration in the United Kingdom (and other countries) for its rightholders, SWISSPERFORM has decided to collaborate with the agency Peermusic/Global Master Rights.
