Biography
Actor, director and author, born and raised in the Italian‑speaking part of Switzerland. After an initial professional path outside the artistic field, he moved to Rome, where he graduated as a professional actor from the Accademia Internazionale dell’Attore (now the Istituto Teatrale Europeo).
In the Italian capital, he worked with several theatre companies, including Teatro Integrato and Pescatori di Poesia, and received a nomination for Best Actor at the RomaTeatroFestival. He further expanded his training at international schools and institutions such as Campo Teatrale, the New York Film Academy in London and the Lee Strasberg Institute in Los Angeles, and attended numerous workshops with renowned directors and instructors.
Since 2008, he has been based in Ticino, where he works as an actor, director and author. He regularly brings to the stage productions he writes, directs and performs himself, including «Solu’n Burattino», «Oggi quasi mi sposo», «Dell’Assurdo», «Le Capitaine Sensible» and «Hashtag». He has been collaborating for many years with Teatro Paravento in Locarno and with the association La Lanterna Magica.
He also appears in several Swiss and Italian television and film productions, including «Frontaliers Disaster», «Bon Schuur Ticino», «La mafia uccide solo d’estate – Season Two» (RAI 1) and «Everybody Loves Diamonds – Season One» (Amazon Prime Video). In February 2021, he won the award for Best Actor at the Film Festival International in Milan for his performance in the medium‑length film «La Leggenda dello Stambecco Bianco». He is also the author and director of the web series «Liscio on the Rocks» (Seasons 1 and 2).
