Biography
Born in 1973 in Baden, Switzerland. A qualified teacher, he works as a musician, composer and producer and also runs Influx Studios in Bern. He works with Lunik, Mich Gerber and many others. Luk Zimmermann is a founding member, long-standing guitarist and producer of the band Lunik. He is involved in the MiNa project with Lunik singer Jäel Krebs and has worked with director Bettina Oberli since the film Ibiza (2002), for which he also composed the soundtrack to Die Herbstzeitlosen (2006). Another collaboration was with director Luki Frieden (Tausend Ozeane 2008, with Christian Brantschen). Son of a Fool (Michael Finger, with Andreas Zuckermann) followed in 2017. He works in recording studios in Bern and Berlin and also composes media music for commercials and commissioned films.
