Rajko Jazbec, born in 1982 in Slovenia and raised in the Swiss Alps, is a versatile film producer known for his strong sense of storytelling, structural thinking, and international collaboration. He holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Master of Science in Business, a combination that blends analytical precision with creative vision.
Since 2004, he has been active in the film industry, working as both a producer and director. His professional background also includes experience in the financial sector, which enriches his entrepreneurial approach to creative processes.
Rajko Jazbec is a member of the Swiss and European Film Academies, an alumnus of the ACE Producers Network and Inside Pictures. He also serves as Co-President of the IG Independent Swiss Film Producers, advocating for the interests of independent filmmakers in Switzerland.
As Managing Partner of the production company Catpics, he has realized numerous national and international projects, including The Universal Theory, Spagat, The Bubble, and The Driven Ones. His productions are characterized by narrative depth, social relevance, and a distinct artistic signature.
Rajko lives and works in Zurich and is an active member of European producer networks. His focus lies in developing and producing films with international appeal and strong local roots.
