Biography

Anna Rossinelli was born in Basel in April 1987. Even as a child, she loved to sing and perform in front of an audience. That’s why she attended classes with a special focus on music during her school years. At the age of 16 she finally went to the general jazz school in Basel for three years, where she took piano lessons in addition to singing, music theory and ear training. Anna’s first stage experience as a soloist came at the age of 13. The following year she founded her first acapella group and became a member of a rock-pop band. Since then she has gained extensive stage experience with various bands and participated in a wide variety of studio projects. Since 2008 Anna has been on the road with Manuel and Georg, made a street music tour through Europe with them. In 2010, Anna and her band won the Swiss qualifying round for the Eurovision Song Contest and reached the final the following year. The first album “Bon Voyage” and an extensive tour followed. She also sang with James Morrison at his concerts in Zurich’s Hallenstadion and at the Live At Sunset Festival, was on stage with Andreas Vollenweider and performed with Adrian Stern.
