The agreement applies retroactively from 1 January 2019 and replaces the contract terminated by SWISSPERFORM at the end of 2018. The time since the termination of the contract has been used for intensive negotiations in order to resolve the previous difficulties and to create the conditions for a smooth exchange.
This mainly means the following for SWISSPERFORM members: Those entitled persons who have commissioned SWISSPERFORM to exercise their rights worldwide (i.e. without territorial restrictions) will now receive the remuneration to which they are entitled for use in Italy via SWISSPERFORM. There is no longer any reason to exclude Italy from the membership and rights administration agreement with SWISSPERFORM.
