Revision Distribution Regulations

You as a member of the Performers Audio Vision have to keep the following changes in mind:

performances in cinematographic films and films made for television

With respect to the distribution of performances in cinematographic films and films made for television
("automatic" distribution, movies / series / sitcoms / dubbing actors) the sound track will be weighted higher
(new 1/5 instead of 1/8). The dubbing actors will be integrated in the distribution for actors; their accounts will no longer be settled according to the reporting system (via Schweizerische Interpretengenossenschaft SIG). Moreover, we will introduce a categorization according to performances (actor, stunt performer, dubbing actor etc.). In particular, we will now have a role weighting (A, B and C) for cinematographic films and films made for television.

  • Need for action on your part:

Please amend your filmography by the number of shooting days (or the number of takes for dubbing actors) in
cinematographic films and films made for television. You can report amendments online. Should you have missed to report your participation in movies or series, please add these as well. If no information regarding the number of shooting days is provided, the performers will be allocated in category C. Acting performances in series will be weighted in a uniform manner.

other audio visual performances (TV uses)

Certain changes were also made with respect to the distribution of other audio visual performances (TV uses)
according to the reporting system (video clips / folk art / music, dance, theatre / commercials / documentary
films). In particular, the formation sizes were adjusted.

  • Need for action on your part:

Please report the broadcastings in which you participated to SIG like before.

subsequent distributions

With respect to both areas – the automated distribution for performances in cinematographic films and films made for television and the distribution according to the reporting system of the other audio visual performances – an additional first subsequent distribution already one year after the main distribution has been newly introduced.

  • Need for action on your part:

In this regard, there is no need for action on your part.
Please find the detailed information on the changes on our website (in german).
